This spark blossomed into a fervent passion for cooking, inspiring him to venture into the kitchen despite a few comical kitchen disasters along the way. “I tried cooking at home after watching those videos, and while I may have burned a few things, I discovered a profound joy in the process,” Rayan shares, emphasizing the beauty of learning through challenges. His culinary journey flourished as he cultivated an understanding of diverse ingredients and techniques, delighting in the aromas of fresh herbs and vibrant vegetables.
One of Rayan’s signature dishes is chicken stroganoff, which he lovingly describes as an easy yet delicious recipe that harmonizes simple ingredients like chicken and rice in a luscious white sauce. Rayan is particularly inspired by the new Hospitality Education Center at Dar al-Kalima University.
