 College Construction Update, October 2008
The weather has changed from hot and dry to cool and wet, announcing the coming of winter. Since it does not rain here during the summer the construction has progressed quickly. As with all construction sites, however, we will be able to expect some delays due to rain and eventually snow. Fortunately the rain does not usually last that long.
In the meantime, the buildings have shown quick progress and are literally “coming together”. The building that connects to the Health and Wellness Center has progressed and the connection has been made to the larger new areas. In addition, the excavation for the driveway to the lower area has been completed and the column footings have been poured. As the saying goes, “It’s starting to come together.” |
