Bright Stars of Bethlehem raises funding, support and awareness of ministries that serve the people of Bethlehem. Here are descriptions of these ministries, the work they do and the people who are involved. The International Center of Bethlehem The International Center of Bethlehem (ICB) is a Lutheran-based, ecumenically-oriented institution serving the whole Palestinian community, "from womb to tomb", with an emphasis on children, youth and women. By empowering the local community, developing human resources, cultivating artistic talents, and facilitating intercultural encounters, the ICB actively promotes the building of Palestinian civil society.
The Bright Stars Program for Children and Youth is an after-school enrichment program for kids ages 6-16, which BSB supports through the Scholarship Fund.

The Dar al-Kalima Health & Wellness Center
In addition to general support for this ministry Bright Stars of Bethlehem has given special funding to the Ajyal "Generations" Elder Care Program and the Azwaj "Young Families" Program through the Scholarship Fund.

The Dar al-Kalima K-12 School offers an alternative to the traditional Palestinian education system. Communication, commitment to the community, critical thinking, creativity, and Christian values lie at the heart of this approach. The school aims to encourage its students to be pro-active participants in the learning process and, through its innovative programs, prepares its students to face the challenges of the 21st century.
Dar al-Kalima College is the first Christian college in the Middle East to offer advanced training in arts, multimedia, communications and tourism studies. DAK College provides a vital accredited resource for higher education in non-traditional disciplines. At a time when Palestine's youth need real options for the future, the College enables the next generation to realize their potential through educational excellence.
Dar al-Kalima Health & Wellness Center was created with the aim to bring hope and healing to a suffering community. It focuses on general preventative medicine, community health awareness, and psychological health issues associated with the current situation in Palestine. Its medical facility is composed of several clinics including an audiology department, metabolic clinic, mental health services for children and families, fitness facilities, swimming pools, and a multipurpose room to accomodate health awareness workshops and training sessions.
