Now that the shells of the buildings are complete and a contractor for the interior work has been secured, the division of the shell into classrooms and workshops has begun. Concrete block construction is typical of this part of the world since wood is neither plentiful nor affordable. Masons have begun to divide the interior space building block walls which will not only add additional sound-proofing, but aid in climate control as well. Since the walls will be made of concrete with a stucco and painted finish, the masons must be careful to allow for inclusion of the other disciplines that will need to be incorporated into the walls according to the architectural plans; electrical lines, water lines, and drainage.  This work will take several months to complete.
